As a workaround I’m routing email bound for AOL through our old server.  You should not be able to send to AOL again.

]]> http://rochester-geeks.org/?feed=rss2&p=45 0 Status of Server Move http://rochester-geeks.org/?p=42 http://rochester-geeks.org/?p=42#comments Sun, 17 Jan 2010 22:23:23 +0000 admin http://rochester-geeks.org/?p=42 I’ve taken care of a bunch of major and minor issues related to the move.  At this point the only major issue that I am aware of that is not resolved is that AOL is blocking email coming from our server.  I suspect that the previous owners of this IP address either had their machine compromised or were spammers themselves.  I’m working with AOL to rectify the problem.

If you see anything wrong, even if you aren’t sure, please email me immediately (greg-serverproblems at therowes.net).

Current issues:

- waiting on reverse DNS update for the new IP

- mailing list software is currently broken
